- Frank works as a truck driver
for OnTime taking cars around the UK and Europe, the job also involves a
lot of promotional work. He started Banger racing in 1975 with PRI no:
(637) later becoming (141) he had been a member of the Sharks and then
the Aces Banger Teams. Frank raced mostly at Coombe Valley and Lydden
but did occasionally turn out at Crayford and Iwade.
- He packed up in 1980 after
making the world final at Arena Essex ( raced in a BMW which was not a
good move and he was put out on the first lap)
- Frank then started racing Super
Rods in 1992 with KAR, racing Fiat twin cams. Having had a long pit stop
in 1997, he rejoined the race with RDC in 2001 with the Sierra’s.

- Mick
- Mick is married to Max and
they have three kids Steve, Louise, & Dan.
- Mick used to race Bangers (no:
247) and was a member of the Aces team back in the late 70’s.
- He has supported Frank for
quite a few years and has helped to prepare many of his race cars. Mick
loves his racing and at the meetings he can normally be found with a
burger in one hand, and a beer in the other.
- Dan
- Youngest member of the crew
and trainee mechanic.
- Dan’s training is going very
well, he is very inquisitive and asks lots of questions, also gives
Frank a hard time when the days racing hasn’t gone as planned.
